i received my first christmas card from the philippines yesterday from my very pregnant friend, monalisa. it's one of those paskong pinoy cards from hallmark. i remember buying this exact same card while i was in manila recently and mailed it to a friend in germany. now i'm getting it, too. how wonderful!
and she even enclosed some stamp sheets of filipino conquistadores of mt. everest and cats!
it doesn't take much to make me happy. this is one of those instances. thank you for this christmas treat, mona! it was so sweet of you to remember. i feel your embrace from miles away. i know you're going to have a spectacular holiday season with your husband coming home.

i miss snail mails. everything seems to be electrinically sent nowadays. that was a great card. happy holidays.
happy holidays, too, atty. oman!

this is one of my favorite hallmark christmas cards and yes, even if i contribute to the carbon footprint i still send snail mail especially during Christmas holidays:) Merry Christmas!!! i love the stamps! i'd better get my copies:D
merry christmas, marites!
