Tree's A Company

tree2010

I missed the whimsical shop windows at Saks Fifth Avenue last Christmas due to my grandfather's death. But when I went to the city last Tuesday, the tree was still up at Rockefeller Center. How lovely! It was like it was waiting for me.

I ignored the frigid Manhattan air numbing my fingers as I photographed myself in front of the tree. I know Christmas is over, but on the other hand, I'm way ahead of everyone for Christmas 2010 with this photo by the Rockefeller Christmas Tree. Ha!

This is officially my first blog post for 2010. And just like the previous years, first thing on my list is to shed off the holiday pounds. It's not just a matter of looking good, but also of feeling healthy. Not everyone has a health savings account to rely on when things go wrong with their bodies.

happy new year! nice photo. i think the tree was waiting for you to show up. it was your grandpa's gift. by the way, i need to do some workout, too, to get rid of the extra pounds i gained during the holidays. take care.

p.s. have you read 'the art of racing in the rain' by garth stein? it'll do you good.

Happy New Year! My friends are currently in NY and it sounds like an exciting place to be during the holiday season. It's nice to have goals for the new year and I think many of us have the same goal to lose a few pounds. :)
