When you're in Times Square, there's always a chance you'll see something or someone who will turn your head. There's the Naked Cowboy, the Naked Cow---lady, and then some costumed people that you have to figure out who they're supposed to be.
These girls in red stockings weren't trying to shove flyers into people's hands about best weight loss pills, they were "Fan Girls," or girls handing out cardboard fans advertising the Broadway musical "Chicago," which I've already seen last year. Tourists readily grab them, since it's so humid in New York City this summer. Those tights must be making their legs hot....literally.

i bet you those are aspiring broadway actors or dancers. sometimes, you've got to start at the bottom.
