still life vs. wild life

luneta

the man-made body of water at luneta in manila, when i was there exactly a year ago. they have elegant swans to hold decorative plants. i do miss bougainvillea flowers.

swan

an actual swan at the lake near our house here in new jersey, also photographed in march last year when i had just returned from the philippines.

you haven't been back for DECADES? ohmygod! rizal's monument misses you, then! it's beautiful there now! and you should also see roxas boulevard by manila bay, too...

take your family with you! there's also a newly-opened aquarium attraction near luneta called "manila ocean park."

Hi how are you? I was looking through your blog and found it interesting and wanted to leave you a comment.

I have an invitation for you to come and visit my art blog here in San Diego Southern California.

I started this blog in an attempt at finding a creative way to find new friends, and explore my artistic skills through bloging.

I hope you will stop by and enjoy the various labels and music videos I design for my art blog.

See you soon :)

Bougainvillea always reminds me of the Philippines, specifically my grandparents :) I love them. They are very hard to grow here in the UK. Happy weekend!

jesse: thanks for dropping by!

sinta: i don't think i've seen bougainvillea here in the east coast. florida or california probably have them.

duskfading: hmmmm...hindi kaya "gansa"? konsultahin ang tagalog-english dictionary! hehe. salamat, mommy mona! :)

sidney: thanks, and welcome back!
