gingmaganda:doll dominatrix

by a fortuitous turn of events (a funeral, a wedding, family reunion), i was able to meet gingmaganda in cainta, philippines last month for the second time in a span of only 9 months.

(i'm posting this solo i took of you...maganda ka naman dito, eh--that was your only condition! haha)

why is she holding these igorota dolls? because she's a doll dominatrix like that, hehe. ging and i blog with these dolls with three other ladies, and soon two more divas will join us. yup, the sisterhood of the traveling igorota is slowly expanding...worldwide!

we met over dinner at kenny roger's restaurant in sta. lucia east grand mall, a place that is conveniently close to our respective locations in rizal (and also where we first met, but at chowking restaurant). another friend would have joined us then, but she couldn't make it at the last minute. we caught up with each other's lives, and in the spirit of the holiday season, exchanged gifts. i had given her this "postcards from the boys" by ringo starr--a book containing a collection of postcards sent to ringo by his co-beatles. i thought it was perfect for ging because she loves the beatles and we both do postcrossing.

and much to my delight, ging gave me an autographed copy of pol medina jr.'s "pugad baboy #1"...something i've been planning on getting. she had pol sign the book with my name on it at the komikon 2008. ging has a picture with my favorite pinoy cartoonist--pol! thanks again, ging! ang ganda-ganda mo! :)
