life is a bowl of...acorns?

a magazine suggested that the things you can find in your own backyard can be put to good, decorative use, reflecting the mood of the season. i followed that tip and decided to collect the acorns that have accumulated on the ground and put them all in our giant, champagne glass-shaped bowl. add a few brown leaves to nest the little nuts, and this is now our autumn centerpiece in the living room.


now if they were actually chocolates...i'd go absolutely nuts for it.
