something fishy this way comes

i would like to correct myself in my previous entry regarding harry potter. i had confused the latest movie with the thickest harry potter book, "order of the phoenix." no wonder i wasn't familiar with the movie's starting scenes. hehe.

anyway, last night was a tearfest for me watching "big fish," well, for the ending, at least. it's a perfect movie for father's day. ewan mcgregor shore sounded funny with a thick suthern acksent. fell in love with the story though. it was about an ordinary man who saw life through extra-ordinary eyes and loved to tell stories in an extra-ordinary way. his son thought his stories were too queer, but in the end, he wove his father's own "surprise ending." fact and fiction were infused, and the fish lived on forever.
