bought a new pair of black velvety shoes for the annual (filipino) christmas party my family's supposed to be going to this saturday. i'm wearing this long black dress with side slits. i don't really feel like going, in fact my sister's not going...but she has work on that day so that's a valid excuse. i'm pretty sure there's going to be lots of married men and their little tykes running around, or twelve-year old girls and boys who were dragged along by their parents.
they say it's going to be a snowy weekend, so i wonder if they'd still party with that kind of weather...we'll see. whatever happens, i'll just make the most of the evening by sitting on a corner and eating as much as my dress would permit...hahaha.
this morning when i went out, the air was so cold it was actually painful to inhale it--it was like inhaling vicks vaporub! gotta wear the scarf around my nose too.
