This mosaic rendition of American Artist Norman Rockwell's painting called "The Golden Rule" is a gift of the United States to the United Nations in New York.
A closer look at the artwork shows the precious words of the Golden Rule. If everyone lived by these words, the world would be a better place and all nations would live together in harmony. This is just one of the many gifts to the United Nations on display available for visitors to see. I've been inside the U.N. in New York twice and did not see a ceiling fan during the tour.
