Champagne Wishes and Coconut Dreams!

Inspired by "Mail Me Art," I decided to turn this bland as blanco envelope into a cartoon canvas of my friends Rica and Jay who are celebrating their first wedding anniversary this month.

I doodled them in their honeymoon getaway in Boracay, Philippines. Result: the envelope evolved from BORING to BORACAY-BEAUTIFUL! Ever heard the phrase, "Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams?" Well, since theirs involved a beach paradise destination, I tweaked it to say "Coconut Dreams" instead! I can use a real coconut right now! Besides, coconuts are more fun to consume than acne pills when it comes to improving skin health, among so many other benefits that it brings.

You'll be surprised to know that I've never met them in person yet, but we went to the same university in Manila and Rica happens to be my blogging sister at our Traveling Igorota Doll project. Her husband, Jay, is a Lomo Master. To me, they embody the "Lifestyles of the Rica and Lomo-Famous!"

You did a fine doodling job. Funny that you never met although you studied together. Happy PFF.

How clever you are! I'd buy a postcard like that, you know. Maybe you need to start your own line of postcards! Happy PFF!

Fortuitous! Hard to imagine you've never met your partner in person. That's great, actually.
