My baby niece turned 11 months old recently and I decided to do something summery for her monthly cake photo shoot: a sandcastle cake with fondant starfish and flags! Can you tell that I wear my heart on my....windows?!
Later this month, she'll be turning a year old! How time really flies. And every month since her first month, I've managed to bake something for her! I hope I don't disappoint with the first birthday cake!
We have mailed out baby invitations for her first birthday party, and we are planning a ladybug-themed event (because she is our lovely little ladybug!).
