some kind of wonderful voice!

when we went shopping at an outlet in myrtle beach last april, there was this child performer singing by the fountain, accompanied by whom i assumed was her dad. she must be around 10 years old, i don't know. she wore a hat and shades which made it hard to see her face.

i think her name was rita mae or something. they had a tip jar out, and she was also selling autographed photos of herself for a dollar each. listen to her sing "some kind of wonderful" in this videoclip i shot with my digital camera. i must say, she has hannah montana potential! she's probably gonna join "american idol" when she's old enough.
