at ripley's believe it or not odditorium in atlantic city, they featured this real banana that was sent in the mail to someone at st. raphael's hospital in connecticut many years ago. it was stamped, so the post office was obligated to deliver it, and they did! believe it...or not!

How fun to find this photo! I mailed that banana to my great aunt who was in the hospital for a heart condition. She would eat a banana every day for the potassium. She passed away in 1986. I was very close with her and miss her dearly.
