very victorian

victorian cards

i'm delighted to have scored this 24-piece greeting card set featuring victorian ephemera at marshall's for only five dollars! a regular greeting card at either hallmark or carlton cards would range from 99 cents-$4.00 and up depending on the size and design, but here, i have 24 assorted cards for nearly every occasion (birthdays, weddings, mother's day, etc., and some blank ones) for the price of one/two cards. you don't have to be a math genius to know that it's a great deal!

it's always good to have a stash of greeting cards ready for any occasion. i know a few people celebrating their birthdays this month, such as sreisaat on march 31st!

these charming cards were made by punch studio, a nice company based in california specializing in daintily-designed stationery and small gift items. marshall's, on the other hand, is a store selling everything surplus from designer apparel to books to food items, but at a cheaper price. the card set i bought was half off its regular price. who doesn't love a bargain?

Love those gorgeous cards, Conn!
How I wish there are wide selection of cards available here in Phnom Penh, o kahit Hallmark cards na lang... all we have are those Chinese/Korean greeting cards with funny Engrish *lol*
Thanks for mentioning my bday, I might be flooded with greetings soon :)(not that I mind it)

Lovely! The boxed sets of all occasion cards tend to be a bit boring - these are beautiful!

These are excellent. Most "vintage" items like this look cheap and don't really capture the flavor of the original item, but these look terrific.

Wonderful cards! I've never come across any like that. As you say, it's great to have a stash of cards to use when you need them.

Sorry for the late comment, I've been away.
