think it's just your usual must-have souvenir shirt from the big apple? look again!
i got this shirt from a kiosk selling pop culture-themed philippine shirts at robinson's place in ermita, manila last march. the label inside the shirt reads "happy days." i think i paid P350 for this shirt, if i recall correctly.
i wonder if i'll get mugged if i wore this in new york city. although, people there are really too busy to notice what you wear, much less the minute details such as this heart. but honestly, the shirt reflects a sentiment i believe in, even if i'm frequently in new york city.
despite the traffic jams, flooded streets, and carbon-monoxide-filled atmosphere, manila is still home. hey, it's not like new york city is pristine and pollution-free.
