tourists have plenty of souvenirs to buy when in new york city, but this statuesque m&m dispenser at the m&m's world in times square just screams "new york, new york!" this sweet souvenir costs a hefty $20, though.
i didn't buy anything from this store as everything was expensive. i was really there just to look around and create my squashed souvenir pennies using two quarters. the flattened, shiny penny comes out of the machine embossed with a cute m&m design with a new york landmark (e.g., empire state bldg.) and the words, "in candy we trust."
just a candy's throw away across the street is the hershey's store. maybe i'll go there next.
