goddess gobbledygook

i just got the audiobook CDs i won on ebay entitled "the undomestic goddess", a british chick lit written by the fabulously funny sophie kinsella. i've actually read the book, but wanted it in audio format so i can listen to it being read by someone with a crisp, british accent--and that someone is katherine kellgren. here's a little snippet from the first chapter:



they pronounce "migraine" as "mee-grain" in this audio version. tomayto, tomahto.

i had given my paperback copy to a lawyer friend in the philippines in hopes that she'll be amused by it as well. enjoyed this book immensely. i wish they turn it into a movie. starring maybe....renee zellweger? she's starred in "bridget jones" and "miss potter," adopting a british tongue in both films.
