arctic blast

doesn't the term send chills down your spine? i know it does to mine, literally. it's what's responsible for the unusually chilly weekend we had recently, and later tonight we're going to see some snowfall.

it was our grandmother's 73rd birthday (jan. 13th), and my sis and i accompanied her to church so she can light candles, and then we proceeded to the mall. ate a lot, and spent money on a pink bag which was on sale, and this red pair of lamb's wool mittens.

earlier, we saw this deer at our backyard. i took his picture, and he was standing very still. he knows he's being watched, even if there's quite a distance between us (i was standing on our deck).
