Writings on the Wall

funny girl, this korean girl who rode with me at the fx today. she wanted to go to chinatown and asked for directions on how to get there. my two other co-passengers were kind enough to guide her. and what was funny was how this guy interviewed her in such a way that i was pretty sure he was going to ask if she has a boyfriend...but he didn't. instead he asked how many siblings she had. haha.

she was quite interested in a lot of things about the philippines like boracay and coconuts. before i got off at ust though, i told her to keep her celfone in her bag and hold her knapsack to her chest and beware of robbers...to which she gaped at me with wide eyes. then they explained to her how dangerous it is in quiapo. that's culture shock for her, hehe. woops, there goes philippine tourism...
