Writings on the Wall

it is now 0127H EST.

so technically, yesterday, my sister and i were adding some finishing touches to our christmas tree, that is, i was hanging these glass icicles and she was topping the tree with a gold rattan star we recently bought at macy's. then we heard loud sirens from outside, and when i looked at the window, there were two fire trucks on parade. one of them had santa on it. well, i rushed outside, frantically, camera in hand, and i was only in my pajamas. i ran to the lawn and tried to take pictures of them. they actually stopped to pose for me. but alas, there wasn't any film left inside! arrgh! nevertheless, this fireman walked up to our driveway where i was standing and he handed me 2 candycanes. damn, if that camera had film in it, maybe i even had a shot taken with him!

oh well.

my sister and i watched maid in manhattan with our grandma at the clearview cinema in parsippany. i think it was a lovely movie. it's a cinderella-type date movie that just worked for me. and i loooove ralph fiennes!

only 2 days to go before christmas AND my sister's 22nd birthday. we have eggnog just so i can try drinking it on christmas day or christmas eve.

just installed this trial version of AOL on my sister's laptop. can't configure our digistix to work on yahoo IM for webchat. maybe it's just not the kind supported by yahoo or something.
