hallelujah! a hawaiian postcard!

the marvelous msray surprised me recently by sending me my first ever postcard from the "aloha state." it's an awesome aerial view of hanauma bay, "one of hawaii's most beautiful bays on the island of oahu." isn't it gorgeous? along with this postcard was a personal invitation for me to visit her in hawaii, as she'll be leaving these islands soon for sunny florida. unfortunately, i can't go. on the brighter side, she'll be in the mainland! we'll be quasi-neighbors! hehe.

and since she recently tagged me to see if my handwriting is legally legible, here's my "pen specimen" for your inspection. anyone out there who can analyze penmanships? haha. my handwriting actually varies slightly depending on the pen used, and morphs horribly when under time pressure. are you like that, too?

Ahhhh Hawaii! This reminds me that I need a vacation! I so want to relax on the beach with a nice frosty glass of coconut milk!

I think that your handwriting is darling:) I truly have chicken scratch!

Gorgeous card! What a shame you can't go to visit.

I have the same problem with handwriting - mine changes with pen, paper, and mood. Sometimes mid-sentence!

That is some view. Unfortunately, Alaska and Hawaii are tragically underrepresented in my own collection as well.

That picture of the bay is the best illustration of a bowl shaped by I've ever seen. The water is so inviting. No wonder they call Hawaii a paradise.

Happy PPF!

Wow, nice postcard from Ms.Ray. I love postcards, too, but I'm lagging behind. Got no time to trade yet. Kaya stop muna ako.

I love that you drew a bone after the last sentence you wrote with your specimen handwriting :)
