just got home from a "graduation dinner" courtesy of our good friend ling who treated me, cess, ton & reeze as her gift for us. she took us to this cozy little place called the chocolate kiss cafe inside the bahay ng alumni building in UP diliman. it was a lovely place for a fancy date with fancy food at reasonable prices, plus they had live music playing while you eat. a flutist and guitarist provided the music. they played old songs which only reeze could accurately recognize, like "rain in spain."
i had chicken ala kiev just like cess and reeze. it consisted of mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and chicken slices stuffed with something in the middle and topped with gravy sauce. for dessert i had a huge slice of devil's food cake. i was already so full i didn't get to finish it.
afterwards we hung out at the oblation statue and even took some pictures there. my first time to actually go near that famous statue. hehe.
