i finally got to see "the mummy returns"! i watched it with my grandmother. wish i brought my i-zone polaroid & posed with cleopatra the usherette...haha. we sat at a spot which froze our bones--we were right next to the aircon! i love the fighting scene between velasquez and weisz! they used these small fork-like swords called sai!

i'm reading this book i borrowed from rizza called "fear of flying" by erica jong. it's about this jewish nymphomaniac gripped by paranoia and other phobias. she discusses her quest for the "zipless f#ck"--a term she coined which actually means casual sex with strangers. i find jong more funny than erotic. among the many other quirky phrases i find interesting in the novel is "glaciers of grievances." there's a character there named adrian goodlove. i think it sounds like the male equivalent of the name felicity shagwell. hehe.
