today, rizza, che, arlene and me went "pleading-shopping" at the QC-RTC for our trial technique class. arlene and i went to a couple of family courts--the first one totally rejected us from obtaining records of annulment of marriage cases as they were "confidential" records. at this other court, the reception was quite cold...slightly hostile even. but we were able to xerox a couple of cases. che and rizza have inquired in almost every court in the building but weren't able to get what they were looking for. along the way, they met some kind and some annoying court personnel. we were so hungry by 430pm that we bought these rice in a box thingies and didn't care if they hardly had any flavor. our only professor for tonight never came, so we just rehearsed our mock trial presentation.
